Ahmid Saleam Hinton

Ahmid S. Hinton, 41, of Cleveland, OH died on Tuesday May 9, 2017.  He was born on July 22, 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of the late Abu Hakimu and Carrie Caroline (Gillis) Hinton. Ahmid was a personal trainer;  a loving farther, and brother and uncle.  He was preceded in death by his sister Latonya Hinton and brother Anthony Gillis.  He is survived by children daughter Tashionna Travis and son Ahmid Hinton Jr. of Cleveland, Darrondres Dunn, Tyzaya Manns, and  Tyzaun Manns all of wheeling. Three grandchildren Aaron and Taniya Cole of Cleveland and Amiyah Hinton of Cleveland and a special grand niece Isis Hinton. He has eight siblings  Jeffrey L. Gillis of Cleveland, Luther Aldridge, of Cincinnati, William Hinton, Ameena(Shyaam) Hakim of Cleveland, Simba(Tori Young) Hinton of Georgia, Zauida Hinton of Cleveland Sandra Hinton of Cleveland, Stanley Hinton of Cleveland. Visitation will be on Friday May 19, 2017  from 10-11 am at Dunham Ave. Christian Church 1629 East 66 Street Cleveland, Ohio 44103. Service will follow at 11 am with Pastor John Johnson and Minister Doneille Dortch officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery 3607 Pearl Rd. Cleveland, OH. A Repast will take place at Dunham Ave. Christian Church Following the Burial.
