Bethany "Beth" Cheryl Rupert

Bethany "Beth" Cheryl Rupert, a beloved figure in her community, peacefully departed this world on February 27, 2025, at the age of 69, within the comforting embrace of Valley Hospice Care Center North. Born on June 2, 1955, in the quaint town of Steubenville, Ohio, Beth's life was a cherished tapestry woven together by her profound love for family and an abundance of cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Beth worked tirelessly in various capacities, leaving a mark wherever she went. Her endeavors as a waitress, a nurses' aide, and her roles at both the Williams Country Club and Steubenville Country Club showcased her unwavering dedication to service. Yet, it was her capacity as a loving and devoted babysitter that truly exemplified her nurturing spirit and generous heart, providing her family with the support they needed in times of uncertainty.

Beth was a connoisseur of cinema, finding joy and comfort in the magic of movies. Her evenings were often spent enthralled in tales spun by the silver screen. Additionally, Beth was the proud curator of a remarkable owl collection, a testament to her whimsical personality and unique interests.

She is survived by her two brothers, Mike (Nancy) Rupert of Wintersville and Joe Rupert of Mingo Junction, along with a delightful constellation of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward. Beth was preceded in death by her loving parents, the late Raymond Leo and Shirley Lois (Brown) Rupert, and four sisters: Barbara Gillespie, Margie Elaine Rupert, Linda Moffat, and Lois Moffat.

As we reflect on Beth's life, we celebrate not only the legacy she leaves behind but also the love and warmth she radiated to all those she met. Her spirit, steeped in kindness and compassion, will undoubtedly linger in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. A private family service will be celebrated on Saturday March 8, 2025.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
