Betty Jean (Sisler) Ralston

February 16, 1926 — November 1, 2018

Betty Jean Ralston, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed from this life on November 1st, 2018, in Springfield, Ohio.  Betty was born in Mingo Junction, daughter of the late Mae Higgins Sisler and Charles Sisler, and was preceded in death by her husband James B. Ralston on September 3, 1991.

Betty was a retired teacher, serving Hill School Elementary for 22 years.  She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, the Mingo Women's Club, and Kappa Delta Pi, National Honorary Society.  Betty received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Steubenville and Master in Education from WVU.

Betty Was an Extraordinary mother, mother- in- law, and grandmother who was loyal, generous and loving throughout her life.  She was a woman of faith.  Her loving presence will be missed, but not without the hope that we will someday see her again.

Survivors include: her daughter Patricia Ralston Maley and spouse Robert Maley of Mission Viejo, CA, and their two daughters Shannon Maley and Shelly Maley Huber, and great-grandson Shane Huber.  Her son Jim Ralston and his spouse Helanka Olexia Ralston, of Springfield Ohio, and their two children Rusty Ralston, Jenna Ralston and great-grandson JB Ralston.

Visitation will be at the Schuetz Funeral Home  at 235 Clifton Avenue; Mingo Jct., on Monday November 5, 2018  from 10:00 - 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.  Internment at Oakland Cemetery.
