Carol Virginia (Dougherty) Huston

Carol V. Huston (Dougherty) Life, long resident of Steubenville passed away Thursday, May 9th, 2019, at the home of her son, and daughter in law surronded by family.  She was born on May 22, 1932 to the late, Ted and Daisy Fisher Dougherty she was also proceeded in death by her husband Walter Huston., and a son Ted Lohr.  She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a member of the Eastern Star, past president of Dar also past president of the social order of Beaucent, and a member of Steubenville chapter of sweet adeline's, she also enjoyed singing, and playing the piano for family, and friends Carol was employed with the Steubnenville School system as a secretary for many years.

She leaves behind three sons Michael (Judy) Lohr of Cape Coral FL., Jack (Leslie) Lohr of Little River NC, and Dana (Peggy) Lohr of Wintersville, a daughter Melissa (Chuck) McGinnis of Steubenville, and step daughter Linda (Leo) Quinn of Mingo Jct., 9 grandchildren Jennifer, Paul, Kenny, David, Joe, Cristin Melanie, Dennie, and Jonathan, 12 great grandchildren, and her caregiver Darlene.  A private service will be held for the family at Union Cemetery.  The family would also like to thank Valley Hospice, and ask that any memorial contributions be sent to Valley Hospice. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
