Charles Edward McGhee, 62, of Bellaire, OH passed away on June 22, 2022 at home.  He was born on January 8, 1960 to the late Charles G. McGhee and Daisy (Womack) McGhee-Pearson.  He is also preceded in death by three brothers George, John, and Robert "Bobby" McGhee.  Charles was a cook and Caretaker for most of his life, as well as in the U.S. Army.  He leaves behind two children Tylar McGhee of Wheeling, and Charles "CJ" Edward McGhee Jr., one grandchild Rae'Lynn Aldridge, two brothers Percy (Melanie) McGhee of Bellaire, Curtis C. (Shelia) McGhee of Bridgeport, four sisters Pauline (Donald) Foster of Wheeling, Pearl Foston of Bridgeport, Oralin Pearson of Wheeling, Alice (Eligha) HIll of McMechen, WV, Special nephews Shane McGhee of Bellaire, and Eligha (Turk) Hill of Columbus, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Friends will be received on Thursday June 30, at St. John's Lutheran Church 40 N. 4th Street. Martins Ferry, OH from 11 am until time of services at 1 pm with Bishop Michael Tolliver  and Marcia Allen Co Celebrants. Burial will take place in Linwood Cemetery. Schuetz Funeral home is assisting the family.
