Dale Allen Whear Sr.

Dale Allen Whear SR., 74, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away August 25, 2024 peacefully surrounded by family.  He was born on September 4, 1949 to the late Alfred John and Marie Rose (Lacott) Whear. He is also preceded in death by his wife Laura J. (LeMasters) Whear,  two sisters Cheryl Tice, and Darla Minger, two brothers Alfred Whear Jr., Duane Whear.  Dale was a truck Driver for International Mill Service and he worked for Valley Camp Coal Co. and served his country in the Army as a Radar Operator.   He is survived by four children Stacie Linn (James) Bennett of Wellsburg, Nancy (Chuck) Butera of Follansbee, Dale Jr. (Tina) Whear of Boardman, and Duane (Renee) Whear of Wellsberg, 14 grandchildren James Bennett Jr (Rowanna Miller), Jessica Bennett (Luke Bowman), Hagin Bennett (Madison Moore), Kyleigh (Preston) Wise, Shyann Parr (Bryce Rowing), Kyle Butera, Regan Butera, Shalynn Whear (Luke Eaton), Londen Whear, Corey Adkins, Nick Adkins, Christian Adkins, Parker Whear, Ryder Whear, and Walker Whear, four great grandchildren Renesmay Bennett, Harper Bowman, Wetzel Wise, Montana Eaton, and many nieces and Nephews. Dale will be cremated with no services at this time.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
