David Ross Porter Sr.

David Ross Porter Sr., 76, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on March 5, 2025 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born on November 14, 1948 to the late Paul and Hattie (Miner) Porter.

He is also preceded in death by his wife Donna Kay (Rodgers) Porter, three brothers Charles "Buck" Porter, Jimbo Porter, and Dick Porter, and one sister Ruth Langer. David worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and was a crane operator for both Mingo Jct., and Martins Ferry Plants. He is survived by his two children David (Kasee) Porter Jr. of Wheeling, and Donita (Jason) White of Wheeling,five grandchildren Lindsay, Brent, Bradon, Samuel, and Jeremy, three brothers Bob (Carol) Porter of Columbus, OH, John (Sue) Porter of Bridgeport, Ed Porter of Bridgeport, and sister Pat Lekanidis of Wheeling.

A celebration of David's life is being Planned and will be announced. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
