Deanna Jean Keener, 55, of Bloomingdale passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at home after a lengthy illness. Born June 24, 1961 in West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Gordon Womack, Sr. and Norma Clark Aliff. Deanna was a lifelong learner receiving a LPN degree from Belmont Technical College and also took online courses in business. She had a passion for cooking which led her to spend many years of her life in the restaurant business working for Carriage Inn of Cadiz, Sunnyslope Nursing Home in Bowerston, The restaurant in Scio and Franks Bar and Grill until she was forced to retire due to declining health. Deanna also enjoyed crocheting, baking, playing computer games and fishing with her husband and best friend Kevin. Time spent with her family and friends was treasured by this kind and loving woman with a big heart who never met a stranger.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Matthew J. Robinson III and a great grandson Aadio Ferguson.
Surviving are her husband Kevin Keener who she married Dec. 31, 2003 Children Christina (Kaci) Edwards of Scio, Darlene Keener of Dover, William D. Keener, Jr. of Cleveland, Kevin Keener, Jr. of Hopedale, Robert "Buddy" Perry, Jr and Michelle Tucker both of Windham; Stepdad Harry D. Aliff of Cleveland, brothers Gordan Womack, Jr. of East Lake and Thomas Womack of Ashtabula, a sister Debbie Aliff of Sarasota, FL; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Junction, OH Friday November 25, 2016 from 10 am until time of service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett.
