Dennis James Whetstone

Dennis James Whetstone, 59, of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on August 21, 2018 at home. He was born in Morgantown, WV on October 10, 1958 to the late Frank and Georgia Mae (Harris) Whetstone.  He is Also preceded in death by two sisters Frances Willis, and Cynthia Townsend.

He was a detailer for Allstrangers in Moundsville and detailed cars all over the valley.  He is survived by his wife Kathy Dee (Lekanudos) Whetstone, three children Percy Sinclair, Dennis Whetstone Jr., Shania Whetstone, three step children Sam, Brent, and Clint. Three brothers Sidney Harris, Robert Whetstone, Clarence Whetstone, and one sister Margaret Coller all of Wheeling.

Friends will be received on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the Schuetz Funeral Home in Mingo Jct.,  from 1 pm until time of service at 3 pm with Rev. James Agnew officiating.  Donations can be sent to the Schuetz Funeral Home to defray funeral costs.
