Donald Gene Gill

Donald G. Gill 84, of Yorkville, Ohio, passed away February 14th surrounded by his wife and family at Trinity Medical Center.  Don was born on September 1, 1940 and graduated from McKinley High School in 1958.  He was a member of the International Union Local 438 Painters & Allied Trades.  

Don is preceded in death by his Mother, Dororthy Kuhens and his daughter Patty Ann Gill.  Don is survived by his wife Cynthia Gill to whom he was married to for 49 years. His four sisters,  Darla Taylor, Janet Stachura, Debbie Wurschum and Terri McCoy. His four daughters, Sonya Fedorko (Chris Heaton), Amanda Polanski (Dave), Janell Gill, Dawn Gill and Billie Jo Williams (Eric),  one son Shawn Gill. His Grandchildren Morgan Kirk (Nathan), Lexus Fedorko, Peyton, Preston, Keith, Olivia, and Avery Heaton,  Madelyne Gill, Aiden Polanski, Allee Polanski, Janyah Gill, Jeorjah Gill, Javoni Gill, Ryan Williams, Kylie Gill and Klaudia Gill. Two Great Grand Children, Miles Kirk and Barrett Boyer.  Don’s favorite place to be was on the golf course. Upon retirement he was a course ranger at Castle Shannon Golf Course. He loved attending Buckeye Local Sporting events especially Basketball.

 A celebration of life will be held on February 23, 2025 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Hank’s Polish Club in Yorkville, Ohio (133 Martha Street). Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
