Donald G "Nails" Campbell

Donald G. "Nails" Campbell, 78, of Bellaire, OH died October 26, 2015 at home surrounded by family.  Born on July 4, 1937 to the late Earl and Iva (Davis) Campbell.  Nails was a member of the American Legion Post # 52 and VFW Post # 626 both of Bellaire.  Nails was a Soldier in the Army serving two different tours, one in the Korean War from Aug 24, 1954 to Aug 29, 1957 and again in the Vietnam War July 27, 1961 to September 11, 1964.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Beverly Palmer and two brothers Bobbie and Blackie Campbell.  He is survived by a son Donald Campbell JR. of Bellaire and his fiancee Crystal Schaal, and one daughter Kimberly Campbell of Shadyside and her fiancee Nick Weber, grandchildren Dillon and Daulton Campbell and Meghan Weber, one sister Shirley Scott, one brother Ollie (Beattie) Campbell, and one brother in law James Palmer.  Family and friends will be received at Holly Memorial Gardens 73360 Pleasant Grove Rd. Colerain, OH 43916 from 12:30 pm until time of Military Honors by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 1:45 pm, Burial to follow at the cemetery.Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
