Douglas Roger Whitman

Douglas Roger Whitman, 64, of Toronto, OH passed away on August 11, 2022 at Valley Hospice Care Center North.  He was born on July 23, 1958 to the late Charles and Lillian (Pettitt) Whitman.  He is also preceded in death by one son Joseph Russel Whitman, three brothers Joseph, Charles Jr., and Eber Whitman, and one sister Eleanor Lenkey. Douglas was a mechanic for most of his life working in Texas for 30 years at Tire Transmission and Meineke.  He is survived by Kristy (Griffith) Whitman, seven children Douglas (Faith) Roger Whitman of Steubenville, Autumn, Bethany, Branden, Lilli, Nicholas, and Ryder all of Toronto, one sister Mary (Leroy) Gouveia, one brother Raymond (Anita) Whitman.  Friends will be received at the Cornerstone Church 423 Clark St, Toronto, OH 43964 on Thursday August 18, at 4 pm with Pastor Raul Diaz officiating.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
