Dwayne Matthew Keringer, 61, of Bridgport, OH passed away on February 15, 2025 at home unexpectedly. He was born on August 18, 1963 to the late Jack Matthew Keringer, and surviving Margaret "Peggy" (Brubach) Keringer. Dwayne was a great guy if you knew him, and always there for his friends. He was a veteran in the United State Army, and was a proud vet. He had his bumps and bruises to show for it. Dwayne worked many jobs in his life from truck driver, S Rock in Moundsville, Security, Can't Find the Kitchen (KFC), and helping out at the funeral home from time to time. Some of Dwayne's favorite sayings were "You rang?" and "Are you Buzzy Buzzy Buzzy" or Busy Busy, Busy? He was always trying to help someone, from Catholic Charities, The Soup Kitchen, Rev. Dr. Darrell W. Cummings food drives. Dwayne volunteered his time to help the less fortunate. On trips to Charleston he would like to ride past his old house that he lived in.
His many hobbies would include going fishing with his uncle Paul Keringer, and they would go out all day. Dwayne was creative with a solution for almost anything "Shucks" he would say sometimes, when he couldn't think of something. Dwayne loved to go hunting. He would do anything to be out there all week if he could. He loved MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat) . He said it reminded him of his days when he was deployed. Towards the end he talked about going to Fireball to look at old cars, and was going to buy a truck one day, but he never got to make this last dream come true. Dwayne leaves behind his mother "Peg" Kerringer of Freeport, OH, his sister Jacqueline Thacker of Rayland, one nephew Glenn (Mary) Thacker of Bellaire.
