Eliza Burns

Eliza  Burns, 89, of Weirton, WV passed away on Monday May 21, 2018 at Weirton Geriatric Center, Weirton, WV.

She was born June 10, 1928 in Newton, GA to the late Joseph Sr and Gussie (Hawkins) Burns.

She was also  preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, Primes, Pastor  Henry "Tex" Burns, Calvin, Willie, Eugene, and Harry Burns and sisters Ezelle Sholar, Gussie Colquitt and Shirley Guin.

Eliza was a cook, home maker, who worked for William's Country Club, and The Diner in Weirton for many years. She loved singing, playing the piano, reading,  painting her finger nails and toes every single day,  Loved wearing her high heels shoes, Mr. Good Bars, was always "Pretty" and Sharp.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, very loving niece Christine (Burns) Pendergrass, Colquitt family, and a loyal niece Karen "KK" Harris and the late Chandra Brown, honoring the late Pastor Tex Burns " Take care of my sister ".

Viewing will be held on Tuesday May 29, at Shiloh Apostolic Faith Church 3000 Weir Ave, from 12 to 1 pm  with service at 1 pm with Dr. Darrell  W. Cummings officiating. Burial to follow in Paris, PA. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to  the Eiza Burns Fund.
