Elmer "Pete" Joseph Starr

Elmer "Pete" Joseph Starr, 83, of Yorkville, OH passed away peacefully on June 5, 2017.  He was born on May 31, 1934 to the late Elmer James and Mary (Cook) Starr.

Pete worked as a crain man in the Yorkville Mill, loved the Pittsburgh Pirates and the dog races.  He was preceded in death by a step mother Patsy Starr and a sister Vivian Starr.

He is survived by Is wife of 59.5 years Phyllis Jean (Waller) Starr, two children Scott Starr  and a daughter Pamela (David) Jagucki, four grand children, and one great grand daughter one brother Robert Starr, and two sisters Linda (Ronald) Kuri, and Patty Sinclair.

Services will be on Saturday July 1, 2017 at Yorkville United Methodist Church 121 3 rd Street. Yorkville, OH, from 1 pm until time of service at 2 pm with Pastor Thomas N. Thomas officiating.  In Lieu of flowers donations to Medi Home Hospice 68150 Bayberry Dr. St. Clairsville, OH.
