Evelyn Gertrude (Morris) Higgins

Evelyn G. Higgins, 73 of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2017.  Evelyn was born on June 29, 1943 in Wallace, WV to the late Abraham G. Sr. and Ruth Jane (Heater) Morris.

She is preceded in death by her son Robert David Higgins, grand daughter Dawn Marie Ensell, three brothers and one sister.  She like listening to Gospel and country music, and was a faithful servant of God, another angel got her wings.

She is survived by her husband James J. Higgins, Son William James (Susan) Higgins, William Jr. (Crystal) Higgins, and grand child Jerry Higgins al of Mingo Jct., great grand children Amy Jo, Caila Sue, Jacob Higgins, Lisa Thompson, and Macaila and Morgan Ensell.

Two sisters Alice (Ralph) Watson, of Wallace, WV, Dorothy McCartney of Lumberport, WV, three brothers Samuel R. (Diane) Morris, James G. (Tammy) Morris both of Mingo Jct., and John (Glenda) Morris of Steubenville.

Friends will be received on January 16, 2017 from 5 - 9 pm at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH and again on Tuesday at 11 am until time of service at 12 pm with Rev. Sonny Shoe officiating.
