Gene Gilbert Ross

Gene Gilbert Ross 83, of Woodsfield, died May 28, 2018 surrounded by family at wheeling Hospital.

He was born June 11, 1934 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Charles and Bess Ross.  He served 2 years in the Army at Ft. Knox. He worked for A & P for 45 years.

Gene was a lifelong Cleveland Sports fan.  He cheered on Ohio State, the Indians, Cavs, and despite years of disappointment, never gave up on his beloved Browns.  His gentle Spirit and sense of humor will be missed.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Carolyn (Griffiths), his daughters Pam Keller and Missy (Tim) Freeman of Wolverine, Michigan and his son Brian of the Home and his grandson Will Freeman.

A celebration of Gene's awesome life will be held at a future date. Please make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Research. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
