George Robert Oyster Jr.

George Robert Oyster Jr., 77, of Mingo Jct. OH passed away on December 13, 2024. He was born on August 20, 1947 to the late George Robert Sr. and Virginia Marcellyn (Spangler) Oyster. George was a Steubenville Big Red graduate, and a Brick Layer for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 44 years. George is survived by two children Jason Liggett of Nebraska and Ryan Liggett of Weirton, five grandchildren Sapphryn and Savannah Liggett,  Maggie & Monroe  and Xavier Liggett, two brothers Richard L (Linda) Oyster of Steubenville, Timothy (Kathy) Oyster of Hilliard, three nephews Richard, Matthew, and Derrick Oyster, and one niece Kristy Oyster. There will be no services at this time and Burial will be at Union Cemetery at a later date. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
