Hisayo Yatagai Corey

Hisayo Yatagai Corey, 88, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on September 19, 2021 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.  She was born in Tokyo, Japan on April 5, 1933 to the late Kanekichi and Aiko (Kawasaki) Yatagai.  Hisayo was an excellent baker, who raised racing greyhounds in Florida, who raised four wonderful daughters.  Donna (Tom) Wilcox of Warwood, WV, Diane (Jim) Pokwatka of Martins Ferry, OH, Dinna Otto of Beech Bottom, WV, Denise Corey of West Memphis Arkansas, eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.  There will be no services at this time with burial at the convenience of the family.  Schuetz Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC of Wheeling, WV is assisting  the family.
