Homer Glenn "Skip" Moore, 76, of Shadyside, OH, passed away at Liza's Place with his wife Nancy by his side. Homer was born in Wheeling, WV on December 13, 1942 to the late Homer Burdette and Mildred (Kiger) Moore.
He is survived by his his wife Nancy Jean (Clegg) Moore, two children Holly (Ben) Duvall of Powhatan Point, and Glenn William (Amanda-Stoltz) Moore of Wheeling, WV, two sisters Joan Bell of Washington, Pa, and Cheryl (Roger) Gilmore of Hannibal, OH, two grandchildren Brenden and Tessa Moore, many nieces and nephews. Skip worked for 40 years at Ormet as a Instrument Technician, a Navy Veteran, was a National Appointee of the American Legion and member of Belmont County Council of the American Legion, and a member of Shadyside American Legion Post 521.
Memorial Visitation to start at 10am on Monday April 8, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shadyside, OH at 305 East 40th St. Military Services at 10:45 am and Memorial Service to follow at 11 am with Father Dan Heusel officiating.
In Lieu of flowers Donations may be made in Homer's Honor to Liza's Place 308 Mt. St. Joseph's Rd. Wheeling, WV 26003. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
