James Norman Soles Sr.

James Norman Soles Sr., 74, of Rayland, OH passed away on October 23, 2024 at Trinity West. He was born on May 14, 1950 to the late James Isaac and  surviving Betty Delores (Cromer) Soles of Moundsville, WV. He is also preceded in death by one daughter Betty Soles, two siblings Larry Soles Sr., and Linda Lykins. James was a steelworker, mechanic, Laborer, and Honorable Veteran of the United States Marine's Corps. He is survived by his wife Debra Sue (Carroll) Soles of 47 years, six children James (Hooks) of New Castle, PA, Donna (Jason) Henthorn, of Portsmouth, OH, Jamie (David) Huffman of Newton, NC, Wendy Soles of Martins Ferry, Kimberly Soles of Martins Ferry,  James Norman Soles Jr. of Dillonvale, and four siblings Debbie (Jim) Coleman, Betty (Steve deceased) Litman of Moundsville, WV, Wilda (Chuck) Nedley of Acworth, GA, Ike (Shelly) Soles of Wheeling, WV.   Friends will be received on Monday October 28, 2024 at Salvation Army Church 315 37th St. Bellaire, OH from 2 pm until time of services at 4 pm with Rev. Major Louis Patrick officiating. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
