Joel Alan Ignace

Joel Alan Ignace, 74, of Smithfield, Ohio fell asleep in death on January 30, 2022. Born October 6, 1947 to the late Stanley and Louise Ignace. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Stanley, Walter, William, and James. He is survived by his wife Wanda of 53 years, daughters Erica Ignace of Weirton, WV, Ashlee (Paul) Hewitt of Tiltonsville, Natalie (Seth) Markwalter of Helena, MT, 2 grandchildren Reagan and Miles Hewitt. He is also survived by two brothers Jack (Patty) Ignace, Mark Ignace, 3 sisters Leah McGrew, Roberta Burkhead, Kathy (Bob) Concato, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He retired from Turf Care, Martins Ferry in 2013.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses his life was centered on serving Jehovah God and he volunteered his time to help others learn about the Bible.
