John Lee Morris Sr.

John Lee Morris Sr., 67, of Wintersville, OH passed away on August 20, 2021 at Trinity West ER.  He was born on April 11, 1954 to the late Abraham G. and Ruth Jane (Heater) Morris.  He is also preceded in death by five siblings Evelyn G. Higgins,  Sarah Lowe, Abraham G. Morris Jr.,  Joseph Morris, Tomas Morris, and a brother in law Bob McCartney.  John worked at Centre Foundry and Machine in Wheeling, loved watching T.V.  and served in the Navy.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years Glenda S. (Myers) Morris, three children April (Billy) Bennett of Weirton, WV, John Lee (DeeDee) Morris Jr. of Richmond, and Penny Morris of Mingo Jct., two sisters Alice (Ralph) Watson, of Wallace, WV, Dorothy McCartney of Lumberport, WV, two brothers Samuel R. (Diane) Morris, James G. (Tammy) Morris both of Mingo Jct.  There will be a memorial service at a later date. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
