John "Butch Sauvageot

John H. "Butch" Sauvageot, 70, of Tiltonsville, OH passed away at Wheeling Hospital on December 1, 2020. He was born on December 5, 1949 to the late Harry J. and Betty M. (Dunn) Sauvageot.  He is also preceded in death by one son Michael Paul Sauvageot, two brothers Charles Dornan, and John Dornan.  Butch is survived by his wife of 48 years Lillian "LiL" (Long) Sauvageot, one daughter Allison Marie Li Sauvageot, two sisters Walda (Jim) Cross of Florida, and Peggy (William) Patterson of Valley Grove, WV, several nieces and nephews, several sister and brother in- law's, two fur babies Zoie, and Chancey. Butch was a past Commander for the VFW Post # 4811 in Yorkville, OH, and served in the U.S. Army, Butch's wish was to be cremated with no public viewing and burial at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
