Joseph Sylvestor Vasconcellos

Joseph Sylvester "Slim Neves" Vasconcellos, 91, of Wintersville, OH formally of Toronto,OH passed away on December 18, 2019 at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.  He was born on March 19, 1928 to the late Francis Joseph and Scholastica (Ventra) Vasconcellos.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Anges (Russo) Vasconcellos, one son Ronald Vasconcellos, one brother Francis Vasconcellos, and one sister Agnes Mello.  He is survived by four sons Richard Wayne Vasconcellos of Wintersville, Thomas Joseph Vasconcellos of Toronto, Gary Lee (Amy) Vasconcellos of Weirton, and James Patrick Vasconceellos of Weirton, four grandchildren James Robert Vasconcellos, Michael Anthony Vasconcellos, Kaylin Aponi Vasconcellos, Lisa Marie Pratt, two loving sisters Clotilda DeMello & Bernadette Souza both of the Big Island of Hawaii, and best friend Capt. Young. Joe will have no services at this time and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
