Kathy Ann (Phillips) Gilday

Steubenville, OH

Kathy Ann Gilday, 64, of Steubenville, Ohio went to be with the Lord after a long illness on the morning of Wednesday March 16, 2022.  Kathy was born on July 27th 1957 to the late Albert and Roberta "Bobbie" (Thompson) Phillips.  She is also preceded in death by two brothers Albert ``Sonny" Phillips  and Paul Phillips and a brother-in-law Donald McHugh. Kathy was a Smithfield High School graduate, played the clarinet second seat in the band, and had a wonderful job as a teller at the bank and despite being vertically challenged she never let that stop her from smiling or telling a joke. She is survived by her beloved companion of 18 years Jerry McDonald, two children son  Scott (Jackie) Gilday of Pittsburgh PA and daughter Christina Elizabeth Gilday of Steubenville, five grandchildren Scott Jr.  (20) Greg (20) Tommy (16) Kaitlyn (14) Emma Ann (13).  Two sisters Mary and (Kevin) Lemmi, of Burgettstown and Rosemary  McHugh of Wintersville.   Friends will be received at the Schuetz Funeral Home on Sunday March 20th from 4pm until time of service at 8pm with Rev. Jim Monogioudis celebrant.
