Leroy Daniel Bee Sr.

Leroy Daniel Bee, Sr. passed away at Trinity West Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Thursday May 9, 2019.

Leroy was born in Steubenville, Ohio on July 20 1947 the son of the late Hiley R. Bee and late Eliza M. Mills.

He was a 1967 graduate of Steubenville High School and served in the U.S. Navy form 1967 to 1973. Leroy retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel after 38 years of service. Leroy was a member of the Tri-state Marine Corp Auxiliary. He was a member of Dillonvale American Legion.

In addition to his parents Leroy was preceded in death by his brother Richard L. Bee and sister Deloris Lancaster.

Leroy is survived by his wife Bernardina (Batenburg) Bee of Steubenville, Ohio whom he married on July 27, 1980 also surviving him are his brothers, Hiley (Ann) Bee of Richmond, and Robert Mason of Steubenville and his siters Ella Mae Sole of Paden City, WV and Suzanne Bee of Richmond.  Surviving is daughter Tina Bee of Steubenville and sons Evan Bee of Columbus, Ohio, Sean Bee of Hilliard, Ohio and Leroy Jr. (Lexi) of Steubenville.  Leroy leaves the loves of his life his three granddaughters Julia and Megan Bee of Hilliard and Lillie of Steubenville.  He will be greatly missed by his fur babies, Charkie, Snowball, and Biscuit.

Visitation will be held at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., on Saturday May 11, 2019 from 6 to 9 pm with services to be held at 7 pm that evening. Tri-State Marine Corp will perform color guard honors for Leroy. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
