Leslie Allen Tolbert

Leslie Allen Tolbert, 73, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away on May 28, 2021.  He was born on September 26, 1947 to the late James Benjamin and Edna (Bathgate) Tolbert. He is also preceded in death by one daughter Micarla Jane Tolbert, and his best little buddy, Shelby.  Les leaves behind a daughter, DeLanie Leigh Conaway of Reynoldsburg; one son, Travis Glyn (Liz) Tolbert of Tiltonsville; two brothers, Stewart (Donna) Tolbert of Lake Placid, FL, and Neil Tolbert of Worthington; one sister, Jayney Tolbert of Columbus; special niece Leona (Shelley McCoy-Tanner) Tanner of Cambridge. He served his country in the Vietnam War and was a decorated soldier, receiving 2 Bronze Stars with Valor, and recommended for a Silver Star.  As a Forward Observer, Les could calculate moves ahead and he was an expert marksman.  He worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as a Millwright, Les was also a former member of the Grim Reapers MC. Les always said,  "God Bless from Les" among other things.  Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH on Friday, June 4 from 4 to 8 pm and again on Saturday, June 5 from 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm with full military honors, with Rev. Susan Clegg officiating.
