Lucio P. Massa, 59, born Bellaire, Ohio, passed into his Savior's arms, Dec 13, 2021.  Lou had many struggles in his life, but always faced them with a positive and cheery disposition.  Despite his challenges, Lou was a loving brother and friend to all.  He was a conscientious worker at the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) in Columbus, Ohio for 27 years.  In 1997, Lou was named the US Disabled Employee of the Year by the United States Secretary of State in Washington, D.C.

Lou loved to spend time with his family, especially celebrating Italian-American traditions.  He loved to drive, listen to his favorite songs and attend community events.  He also volunteered his time at local hospitals and nursing homes.  Lou lived his life with a strong faith and trust in God.

Lou was Preceded in death by his parents, John and Carmela Massa.  Left to cherish his memories are his twin sister Susan (Fred) Wakim, who treasured and cared for him always, his brothers Michael (Carol) Massa and Ray (Sherry) Massa, his Uncle Luciano Nardone, niece Monica Wakim, nephew Anthony (Diana) Wakim, great nephew Henry Wakim, many cousins, and numerous friends.

A private graveside ceremony is planned for immediate family.  Arrangements by Schuetz Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio 711 East Livingston Ave Columbus, Ohio 43205 Phone: (614) 227-3700
