Madeline Joyce "Maddie" (Gura) Cunningham

Madeline Joyce "Maddie" (Gura) Cunningham, 65, of Martins Ferry, OH died November 19, 2016 at Liza's place surronded by her loving family.  She was born in Martins Ferry on April 7, 1951 to the late Lewis Joseph and Edith L. (Robinson) Gura.

Maddie worked and retired from Hearland Lansing Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by a sister Sandra (Paul) Blanchette, and brother Lewis Gura Jr.  Surviving are her husband Ray E. Cunningham Jr., three children Ray (Lori) Cunningham III, of Martins Ferry, Mark Cunningham of Martins Ferry, and Adam (Meredith) Cunningham of Bridgeport,  siblings Nancy (Bud) Harthausen of North Carolina, Deborah (James) Mackes of Virginia, and Joseph Rogers, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren two nieces and one nephew,  Madeline was cremated with no service observed per her wish's.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
