Mary Ann McCaffery

Mary Ann McCaffery, 74, of Mingo Jct., OH passed away on October 11, 2024 at home with family.   She was born on February 26, 1950 to the late Carl and Maxine (Clark) Huffman.  Mary Ann was the past owner/operator of Stella's Goodie House in Wellsburg on  Charles Street, before that she was a security guard at one of the nuclear power plants, where she met her mate the late Bernard McCaffery.  She was a licensed private investigator.    She is survived by three children Ronald Cassidy of New Philadelphia, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Cassidy of Dover, and Nadean Miller (David Applegarth), five grandchildren Brian Cassidy of Dover, Jacob Cassidy of New Philadelphia, Tracy Kemper of Ashland, KY, Christopher Miller of Mingo Jct., and Tyler Applegarth of Mingo Jct., one brother Carl Wayne Huffman of Mingo Jct., and one sister in law Brenda Huffman, Several nieces and nephews.  There will be no services per her request and she will be buried next to her husband in Oakland Cemetery.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
