Mary Ellen (Shannon) Blumenauer

Mary Ellen Blumenauer, 73, passed away on January 6, 2023 at home unexpectedly, in Bridgeport, OH, formerly of Tiltonsville, OH.   She was born on June 23, 1949 to the late Clifford C. and Leona F. (Huntsman) Shannon.  She is preceded in death by her husband Harold "Sonny" Blumenauer Jr..  She is survived by three children Jeff (Theresa) Blumenauer of Piny Fork, Donald Blumenauer and Tom Blumenauer both of Wolfhurs, OH, grandchildren Jeffrey (Ashley) Blumenauer of Wheeling, David (Myla) Blumenauer of Norfolk, Va, Shane Blumenauer of Martins Ferry, Tara (Chris) South of Wheeling, Malinda Whittaker of Parker, CO, Amanda Whittaker of Wheeling, WV, Hunter, Spencer, Sawyer South, four siblings brothers Tom ``Sam" (Mary) Shannon, John Shannon, Butch Shannon, and one sister  Barbara Shawhan. A memorial service is planned for a later date.  Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
