Michael "Herb" Herbert Achhammer Jr.

Michael "Herb" Herbert Achhammer Jr.,83 of Wintersville, passed away on November 3, 2024 at home with his family by his side.  He was born on July 14, 1941 to the late Michael Herbert Sr. and Ella Marie (Jones) Achhammer.  

Herb drove most of his life, a bus driver, for enterprise,  on the open road as a truck driver, and  "Coach Herb" for a youth football team.  He was a graduate from Big Red High School, and served his country in the Army.  He was a  member of the Wintersville, Baptist church, and the Temple Trio (Gospel Singing Group).  He leaves behind the love of his life Lois Elaine (Woods) Achhammer of 61 years.  He is survived by his three children Michael Herbert Achhammer III of Wintersville, Russell Achhammer (Brenda Kugler) of Wintersville, and Diana Clark (Bob Majewski) of Steubenville, grandchildren Amanda Achhammer  (Andrew Cullen) of New Alexandra, Melinda Achhamer of Toronto, Kirsten Clark of Steubenville, Ellie Clark of Steubenville, great grand daughter Dejah Achhammer of New Alexandra, and great grand son Cameron Corona of Wintersville. Services will be on Monday November 11, 2024 at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Jct. OH from 5 to 8 pm with services at 6 pm with Jeremiah Kuttler officiating.
