Norman Kenneth Moore

Norman Kenneth Moore Jr, 87, of Steubenville, OH passed away on January 22, 2025.  He was born on March 1, 1937 in Follansbee, WV to the late Norman K. Sr. and Ruth E. (Foster) Moore.  Retired from Weirton Steel as a Foreman in the Blast Furnace Department.  He was a graduate from Big Red High School Class of 1955, a Social member of Post 33 American Legion Steubenville, Social Member of St. Anthony, and the Weirton Steel 25 year Club.  He is preceded in death by his wife Marian jean (Penman) Moore, two sisters Patty Paxton, Elaine Williams, and one brother Charles W. Moore, nephew Ross Penman.

  He is survived by one son Norman Kent Moore (Debra) of Martins Ferry, OH."sister-in-law Barbara Penman, niece Laurie Littlejohn and nephew Scott Penman.  The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, for their compassionate care, Visiting Angels, along with our wonderful friends Dana, Nicole, Alena, Ashley, Ellen and Justin.

 Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Jct., OH, on Thursday January 30, 2025 from 3-4 pm with services at 4 pm.
