Paula Elaine (Smith) Vatcher

Paula Elaine Vatcher, 66, of Steubenville, OH passed away on January 12, 2022 at Trinity West.  She was born on November 2, 1955 to Mack and Ellen (Rankin) Smith.  Paula was an Aircraft Repair Specialist and was a Word of Life Church member. She is survived by two children, Sarah (Charles Crockett) Vatcher and Jacob Vatcher both of Los Angeles, CA. In her youth, Paula loved to sing in both her school and church choirs. Later in life, she started fostering puppies from local shelters to help ensure they were ready for their forever homes. Paula was creative and had been fixing up a home she had just bought. She was a loving mother and friend, always willing to offer a helping hand and an ear to listen. Paula's wish was to be cremated with no services at this time. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
