Pearl Elizabeth "Betty" (Leyland) Thompson

Pearl "Betty"  (Leyland)Thompson, 85, of Rayland, OH passed Monday, December 26, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on November 8, 1931 in Wheeling, WV to the late Joseph and Pearl E. (Mackey) Leyland. She was retired as a LPN at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling. She was proceeded in death by her husband Robert E. Thompson, her daughter Brenda J. Wells, three brothers Wayne, Richard, and Bill Leyland. She is survived by her children Bob (Gail) Thompson, Barb (Dave) Kinkus, Bonnie (Brian) Kempton, and Beverly (Mark) Lotz all of Rayland, OH, three sisters Eileen Scullion, Millie Gosney and Rosemarie (George) O'Connell, Seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private services  were held at the convenience of the family. Burial at Upland Heights Cemetery.
