Phillip Gary Purr

Phillip Gary Purr, 74, of Dillonvale, OH formaly of West Palm Beach FL, died June 5, 2015 at EORH in Martins Ferry.  Gary was a General Contractor for much of his life, he served his country in the Navy, and was a Minister for Science of the Mind.  He was preceded in death by his parents Carroll Jack and Mary Lou (Carpenter) Purr, two brothers LaCarr "Dick" Purr, and Ronald Purr.  He is Survived by his three children Valinda (Branson) Liggett of Dillonvale, John Purr of West Palm Beach FL, and Derek (Emily) Purr of Carey North Carolina, five grand children and five great grand children,  one brother Jack Purr of Pinckney, Michigan,  Nephew Scott, and Robbie Purr, and Niece Lisa Purr.  Friends will be received Sunday June 7 from 2-8 pm with services at 7 pm at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Junction, OH.  Gary wish was to be cremated with his ashes taken to Florida to be spread.  To leave a condolence visit www.schuetzfuneralhome.com
