Raymond V Maskivish

Maskivish, Raymond V., 75, of Shadyside, OH died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at East Ohio Reginal Hospital.  He was born January 23, 1939, in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Ben Maskivish and Stella (Kendjorsky) Maskivish.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Bernard Maskivish and one sister Bernice Kennerle, both of Florida. Raymond was a Navy Veteran, member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion in Shadyside, and  Eagles in Bellaire. He retired from Navistar International in Springfield, OH. He was an avid football fan and enjoyed working in his yard and garage and riding on his golf cart with his pets.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Stevens)  Maskivish, one daughter Robin Maskivish of Shadyside, two grandchildren Kristen Shunk of Shadyside, and Vince Shunk of Mingo Junction.  One brother Joe (Beth) Maskivish of Shadyside, and Five sisters Josephine Winland of Florida, Eleanor (Richard) DelVecchio of Warren, Patricia (Robert) Russell of Shadyside, Henrietta (Michael) Mellott of Bellaire, Christine (Jim) Littleton of Bellaire,Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation at the request of the family.  The Family is being assisted by the Schuetz Funeral Home "The Affordable Choice" 235 Clifton Ave, Mingo Junction, OH.
