Richard B. Mckean

Richard B. McKean, 79, of Yorkville, OH died April 22, 2017 at Liza's Place wheeling, WV.  He was born on June 15, 1937 to the late Cornelius Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Mozena) McKean.  Rich loved to work in his garden growing tomatoes, Green papers, and a few herbs.  He was a strong union man, plant protection, grievance man, financial secretary, and Vice President at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Local 1223.  He was preceded in death by his son Ricky McKean, brother James "Jimmy McKean, and sister Karen Duncan.  He is survived by his wife Dee (Gebhard) McKean, and a daughter Sherri Lynn (Andrew V.) Destifanes of Yorkville, and one granddaughter Alaire Destifanes.  Brother William McKean of Martins Ferry, sister Connie (Mike) Jacob of Colerain, Brother Bruce (Freda) McKean of Elkins, WV, his best buddy "Buster", lots of nieces and nephews. Rich will be cremated with a memorial supper plained for a later date.  Schuetz Funeral Home assisting the family.
