Robert J. Morris Ii

Robert J. Morris II, 81, of Steubenville formally of Wintersville, passed away August 2, 2014 at Life Line Hospital in Wintersville.  He was born August 25, 1932 in Steubenville, son of the late Robert Sr. and Anna Fern (Roudebush) Morris.

Also preceded in death by his wife Joann (Tice) Morris, a son Richard Morris and a daughter Wanda Morris and a brother Lowell Morris.  Robert was a fan of Twilight Zone, and Chiller Theater when they were on TV. He served his country in the Army as a Mechanic and Infantry in the Korean War.  Later in life he retired from West End Motors as a Mechanic.

He is survived by sons Robert (Carol) Morris III of Wintersville, Edwin (Darla) Morris of Steubenville, David Morris of Wintersville, Craig (Kathie) Morris of Steubenville and daughters Constance (Gary) Cooper of Beach Bottom, WV, Patricia Morris of Wintersville, Christine (Tim) Knight of Toronto, two sisters Betty Scott of Cleveland, and Jill Morris of Steubenville, one brother Leonard  (Clare) Morris of Steubenville,   22 grand children and 20 great grand children.  Friends will be received  2-6 p.m. Thursday August 7, 2014 at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave, Mingo Junction, OH.  Where services will be held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Lester Banks officiating. Military Honors provided by WIntersville American Legion Post # 557.
