Robert James "Bert" Strohmeyer

Robert James "Bert" Strohmeyer, 54, of Mingo Junction passed away on February 22nd 2022 at  the Wyant Woods Care Center in Akron Ohio. Bert was born on January 19th, 1968 to the late Thomas Strohmeyer and Elsie (DiFabbio) Richards.  Bert loved the Steelers and the Atlanta Braves, Huge Ozzy, and Black Sabbath, and graduate of Mingo High School class of 1987.  Served four years in the US Navy, he was a manager of a major restaurant chain in Columbus, OH and he loved spending time with family.  He leaves behind two children James Strohmeyer, and Laura Strohmeyer both of Weirton, one sister Betty (Michael) Johnston Mingo Jct., Two brothers Thomas (Teresa) Strohmeyer of Tiltonsville, and Thomas (Melissa) Strohmeyer Jr., nieces and nephew LeAnne, Jenna, Sara, Danielle, and Zach. In Berts Honor please wear Steelers apparel. Friends will be received at Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Jct.,  on Saturday February 26, from 2 -4 pm and 6- 8 with services at 7pm with Rev. Susan Clegg celebrant.
