Roberta Ann (Banks) Ramsey

Roberta Ann (Banks) Ramsey, 74, of Mingo Jct, OH died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 under the care of Valley Hospice.  She was born on April 20, 1942 in Cadiz, Ohio to the  Ronald and Mary (Wallace) Banks. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Betty (Franklin) Tyler and Cheryl Nobel.

She was survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward Allen Ramsey: two daughters, Marcey Henderson of Columbus, OH, Mitzi (Michael) McIntyre of Steubenville, OH: one son J.W. Ramsey of Mingo Jct, OH: four grandchildren, Jordan McIntyre of Washington D.C., Steven Henderson of Columbus Oh, Darrius Henderson of Chicago, IL and Alyssa McIntyre of Steubenville Oh.  One brother Ronald Banks of Bloomingdale OH. Several Nieces and nephews, special lifelong friends and neighbors and a host of relatives.

Roberta was a graduate of Kaplan Online School. She was a dedicated homemaker and devoted, loving "Grammy".  She played a vital role in helping with the Steubenville Tigers Pee-Wee Football over the years.  She was a member of the Democratic Women's Club.

Friends will be received on Monday May 23, 2016 at Mount Carmel Baptist Church 708 N 5th St. Steubenville, OH, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm with Rev. Maurice Lawson officiating. Burial to Follow at Oakland Cemetery Mingo Jct.
