Stanley A Pawlin

Stanley A. "Curly" Pawlin, 85, of Wintersville, OH died March 1, 2016 at Trinity West, Steubenville.  He was born on January 4, 1931 to the late Alexander and Helen (Dzugielewska) Pawlin.  Curly retired from Weirton Steel as an Electronic Repairman and also from the Bayer Corporation as a Dyes Applicator Technician.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Lucille Pysnik, a son Stanley Pawlin Jr. and a sister Gladys Haggard, a brother Casimir "Massy" Pawlin.  He is survived by his wife Zana Kay (Fix) Pawlin, children John (Deborah) Pawlin of North Carolina, Linda (Doyle) Higgins of Dekalb TX, Mary (Jerry) Gavin of Vine Grove Kentucky, Joseph (Barbara) Pawlin of Virginia Beach, step-son Michael (Renee) Boilegh of Wintersville, a sister Eleanor Compston, numerous grand children and great grand children. Curly's wish was to be cremated with no service observed. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
