Steven Michael Hall, 65, of Wintersville Ohio, passed away on April 5th, 2023 at Carriage Inn of Steubenville, from complications following a stroke.
Steven Hall loved talking to people from all walks of life, had a great sense of humor, loved to cook for people, and even though he could be difficult at times he was still someone who was taken home too soon. His family finds comfort in knowing that the moment he passed, he was taken up to meet Jesus in Heaven. His body is now perfect.
Steve, we hate that you are gone and there will be no more Chef Steve cookouts, funny comments about the latest politics, or telling us over and over how proud you were of your only son, Steven Hall Jr., and most importantly your love for Jesus. For your family and friends, we are happy that you are home free and painless. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.Steven was born on February 27, 1958, to the late Theodore Elmer Hall and Barbara (Oliveira) Stone. Steven was a chef for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus cooking over 3,000 meals a week for the performers, as well as serving in the U. S. Military for 4 years in the Air Force as a fire-fighter. Steven is survived by his son and only child, Steven Hall Jr. of Virginia, three sisters Cynthia (Randy) Vera of Murphy, NC, Barbara (Tom) Pritts of Lakeland, FL, Mary (Steve) Kocis of Dayton, Ohio, his stepmother Mickey Hall of Zephyrhills, Fl, aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews. There will be a private family celebration of Steven's life at a later date. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Memorial donations may be given in honor of Steve to your favorite charity.
