Thomas Lee Thomas, 52, of Smithfield, OH, formerly of Moundsville, WV passed away on October 17, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born on July 3, 1969 to Twila (Carroll) Fordyce. He was preceded in death by his step father Paul Fordyce. Tom was a graduate of John Marshall High School, Chief of Police in Mount Pleasant, OH, Police officer in Dillonvale, OH, Member of the FOP, a great father, and a Hero. He is survived by two sons Joshua (Ashley) Thomas of Crestline, OH, Zachary Thomas of Smithfield, OH, Ronda (Lyle) Tipton lifelong best friend, three sisters Cindy (Matt) Conners, Sharon Shaw, Karen Thomas, one brother Joey Fordyce, step sister Misty Fordyce, one step brother Bill Fordyce, numerous nieces,nephews, and cousins. Friends, Brothers, and Family can pay tribute to their fallen Hero on Friday October 22, from 2- 8 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department 198 Oak Dr. Mount Pleasant, OH 43939. Viewing will follow on Saturday from 10 am until time of Services at 12 with Full Police Honors with Father Dunfee officiating. Dinner to Follow. Donations can be made to Mount Pleasant Fire Dept.
