Valerie Robinson

Valerie Robinson, 57 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully at Trinity West Hospital on October 16, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Oakdale, Pennsylvania on March 22, 1966 Valerie was the daughter of the late Glen and Virginia McDowell Wilt.

Valerie was a longtime employee of The Herald Star Newspaper and also worked for Fedex for several years.

Valerie loved to travel and go to the beach as well as on road trips with family. She was an animal lover and an avid bird watcher.

In addition to her father Glen, Valerie was preceded in death by three brothers Harley (Ramona) Wilt, Glen (Marie) Wilt, and John Wilt as well as one sister Barbara (Hayward) Tolley.

Valerie will be greatly missed by her mother Virginia; her husband Joseph Robinson; daughters Carrie Wilt and Corey Robinson; a brother William Wilt and a sister Susan Wilt and her companion William Iddings; as well as many, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately with family. Arrangements were entrusted with Schuetz Funeral Home.
