Viola Mae (Torchio) "Nana" Buracchio

Viola Mae "Vi" Buracchio, 89 of Weirton went to heaven, on October 17, 2016.  She was born on September 1, 1927 to the late Luigi and Mary (Gillette) Torchio.

Devoted to the City of Weirton she was a 25 year retiree from the Milsop Community Center and Starvaggi Pool. She lived life to the fullest, and will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She was preceded in death by  her husband Renaldo "Reno" Buracchio, sister Rose (Torchio) Altomare, one brother Anthony Torchio, daughter Renee M Scialabba.

Survived by her brother Louis Torchio of Weirton, granddaughter Trina M. (Bryan) Morgan, great grandsons Zachary, Darren Starr,  great great grandson Saverio Starr, and nephew Paul P. Altomare.

Friends received from 4-8 pm on Thursday October 20, 2016 at the Schuetz Funeral Home 235 Clifton Ave Mingo Junction.

A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Fr. Dennis R. Schuelkens will Celebrate. Burial will follow in St.Pauls Cemetery.  A vigil service will be on Thursday at 5 pm. Donations may be made to the Funeral Home in Viola's name.
