Ilia (Torres) Gonzalez

Ilia (Torres) Gonzalez, 78, of Wintersville, OH passed away on December 3, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 8, 1945 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Julio and Paula (Reyes) Torres.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Cruz Ashley Gonzalez.  Ilia was a factory worker in her earlyer years.  A  abuela amorosa, she loved her children and was a member of Calvary Church in Steubenville.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory Marivet (Luis) Ortiz of Connecticut, Carolos (Maria Torres) Torres of Oklahoma, Jeanette Ruiz of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Judy (Jason) Garland of Argyle, TX, and Jorge Ruiz of Irving, TX. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family. A memorial Services is planed for December 16, 6:30 pm at Calvary Church in Steubenville, OH.
