Marlene "Brandi" Elaine (Barr) Mcdonald

Marlene Elaine (Barr) McDonald 65 of Brilliant Ohio passed away on April 3rd, 2023, at her home. She was born May 3rd, 1956, in Steubenville Ohio to the late Chester C. and Nellie E. (Gillespie) Barr. Marlene was a 1975 graduate of Buckeye North High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Darrell Barr, a nephew Lance Barr and her precious cat, Magic. Marlene is survived by her companion Brian Voiers of Brilliant Ohio, one daughter Amber (McDonald) Davis of Brilliant, two sons Jordan McDonald of Follansbee, WV; Jacob McDonald of St. Clairsville OH, a brother Kevin (Joyce) Barr of Brilliant and two grandchildren: Anna and Nathan Davis of Brilliant. Marlene was a member of the Brilliant United Methodist Church, a homemaker who loved God, her family, her precious cats, music, and the many holidays she enjoyed decorating for. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2023, at the Brilliant United Methodist Church 525 LaBelle Street, Brilliant Ohio at 11:30am. Pastor Kevin Daugherty will be officiating. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
